The Capstone Discourse - Conversations that Matter May 28, 2024 10:21 am

Socio-cognitive Diversity has so many opportunities to break Group think, exaggerated Domain experience and also busting Silos thinking and working.

Infact the whole Talent Acquisition space is full of opportunities to redefine the success of the organization, build Culture as a key differentiator and build Generative thinking as a key strength in disruptive markets.

Here in Part 3 of Talking Points with Capstone of Episode 1 Sanjana Shah, Start-up Entrepreneur and I discuss some of the realities of Working from Home and Office that have influenced choices, strong emergence of the gig economy and the need to re-evaluate the various Employment options an Employer has, and how well these could be executed to retain Ownership and Engagement for performance.

And the need to hire more creatively, bust Group think and narrow legacy thinking that may slow down the process of ideation for managing wicked problems in times of disruptions, upheavals and new opportunities.

Talking points with Capstone - Part 3

The Capstone Discourse - Conversations that Matter May 28, 2024 10:14 am

Culture is a fuzzy word in the minds of most - it’s also a word loosely used to describe Mindsets manifesting into Behaviors, combined with expressed or unexpressed ground rules, that may lead to favourable or unfavourable experiences .

It describes the ‘way we do things around here’ - what we believe in, how we lead, how we work together, what we believe about Talent and Customers and Performance and how we prepare for the Future.

In the current disruptive times where Strategy can be imitated, Culture remains a significant differentiator. A secret sauce that can build competitive edge, make it difficult for competition who will struggle with the potted plant syndrome if they copy your actions/ practiced and sustain High Performance for the future.

In this Talking Points with Capstone, we talk about Culture as a differentiator and why organizations must focus on building this as a Strategic Advantage.

Talking Points with Capstone - Part 2

The Capstone Discourse - Conversations that Matter May 28, 2024 9:58 am

Conversations are such a powerful medium for sharing insights and learning. Needless to say like many others, I have always been attracted to powerful conversations that enrich and clarify our own thinking. I particularly savour conversations with new-age Entrepreneurs, those from professions very diverse from mine, and the process of making meaning through insights, concepts, even vocabulary we use in the business world. These can hold such powerful Ah-ha moments for entrepreneurs, academicians, leaders in government, depending on where they maybe located…

Here in Talking Points with Capstone we capture some of these powerful conversations sometimes featured in parts… Watch this premier episode of Talking Points where I am in conversation with Sanjana Shah - Start-up Entrepreneur and Creative Director of Tao.

In this episode we speak about the challenges around Productivity for High Performance Pre and Post-Pandemic, and how we help organizations work around the Stories they tell themselves about themselves to find powerful opportunities for value creation.
